We are looking for a strategic and experienced leader to join as our Recruiting and People & Culture Manager. In this capacity you will play a key role as a founding member of our People Org, and report to our VP of Finance. You will assess our organizational needs and drive comprehensive solutions in areas such as talent acquisition, employee performance, management, communication, training, diversity and inclusion, leadership and career development. Bringing your previous experience handling confidential and sensitive information, you will be expected to exercise discretion, empathy, and integrity while working within a fast-paced, start-up environment

Rightway is headquartered out of New York City, with new offices in Hudson Yards. We also have remote offices in Miami, FL and San Francisco, CA. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In partnership with hiring managers, run our recruiting and talent acquisition activities including defining and implementing strategies to attract, hire, and retain top talent
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in the People Operations and HR function of Rightway, advising the leadership team on strategic decisions on scaling the company, organization development, hiring, among other things
  • Act as a champion of our culture and core values across the organization and multiple offices
  • Be the trusted advisor to the CEO, VP Finance and extended leadership team, holding all managers to a high-quality standard.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5-7+ years of experience, including 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting and a strong desire to take on People & Culture projects outside of your core Recruiting responsibilities
  • Experience scaling and growing tech startup
  • Strong HR functional expertise preferred
  • Strong Talent / Recruiting background
  • Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation skills
  • An excellent project manager with a proven ability to design and implement people operations strategies that drive business results
